    We are looking for a Director, Accounting and Finance. This is a full-time, in office, salaried position. This position is an important component of Cornerstone’s Leadership Team. It is a hands on role combining accounting functions, finance functions, payroll functions, management of staff, and all monetary functions of the company.

    Director Accounting and Finance:

    Role and Responsibilities (Cornerstone-Company Wide)

    Continually maintain communication (both verbal and written) with Directors, Managers and other co-workers regarding the roles and responsibilities of the position. This includes keeping informed of Cornerstone communications, programs and policies.

    Responsible for the overall physical appearance of the Cornerstone Clubs so that our members and staff are in a clean and comfortable environment.

    This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive and it is understood that, as an employee of Cornerstone, I may also be asked to perform other duties as needed by my immediate supervisor or other members of the leadership team.

    Role and Responsibilities (Job Specific)

    Manage finances for all Cornerstone entities

    Responsible for full-cycle accounting functions, including both cash and accrual basis activity and reporting

    Prepare monthly financial statements and KPI’s

    Cash Flow/Invoice Management including; monitor/manage cash flows, fund payrolls, benefits, intercompany transactions, monthly closing journal entries, AP and AR functions, reconciliations extensive month end and other reporting on numerous aspects of all companies. Full benefits management including; oversight of health insurance, monitor and manage employee eligibility for benefits, manage HSAs, manage 401K, monitor PTO

    Involvement in liability and workers comp procurement and management of policies

    Interface and interact with senior management on an assortment of topics

    Payroll oversight and hands on management of all payrolls and payroll reporting

    Extensive annual reporting including; 1099’s, 401K census, health insurance renewals and enrollments, ACA reporting, insurance audits, EEO-1 reporting

    Assist with annual operating and capital budget preparation

    Oversee daily cash reconcilement and miscellaneous projects; troubleshoot issues with service desks and other staff as needed

    Report on all sales; meet monthly with CFO to close out books, keeper of master records & retention

    Manage small staff – primarily payroll and procurement, departmental oversight

    Miscellaneous projects/reports as requested/needed

    Any other duties as assigned

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Bachelor’s degree in related field i.e. Accounting, Finance, or similar

    Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping. experience in quick books, excel, payroll, (ADP workforce now and running ADP reports a plus)

    Minimum 3 years of management experience

    Independent self-starter, detail oriented

    Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

    Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills

    Ability to multi-task, work independently and with a team and perform detail-oriented functions

    Professional and enthusiastic attitude. Must have a commitment towards customer service excellence

    **Must be able to attend meetings at multiple clubs
