Cornerstone Hospice & Palliative Care is seeking a dynamic Recruiter to develop and apply innovative and effective strategies to attract and retain talent for clinical and non-clinical positions in a high-volume environment. THE HOME OFFICE FOR THIS POSITION CAN BE ASSIGNED TO OUR ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICE IN ORLANDO OR TAVARES.
SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri; 8a to 4:30p
JOB DUTIES/KNOWLEDGE
- Plans and executes sourcing and recruiting strategies and selection, hiring and offer extension processes that result in top talent for the organization. Is proactive in identifying resources that can be utilized to attract prospective candidates to fill the “pipeline” for clinical and non-clinical positions.
- Manages the position control forms, creates requisitions, screen resumes, conducts phone interviews, administers pre-employment assessments, and evaluates candidate job qualifications. Recommends the strongest candidates to the Hiring Manager. Coordinates on-site interviews with interview teams when appropriate.
- Determines organizational fit for job and directs applicants to the most appropriate interview opportunities; has a thorough understanding of the job descriptions and how the various positions of the organization interrelate.
- Manages candidate expectations throughout the recruitment process by communicating information necessary at each step. Maintains current knowledge and understanding of employee benefits and positively presents that information during the interview process.
- Maintains current knowledge and understanding of the pay structure and salary ranges for open positions and appropriately utilizes that information during the recruitment and hiring process. Calculates and extends job offers to selected candidates.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with hiring managers, by serving in the role of consultant and counsel for recruitment and clarification of HR Hiring policies and labor laws. Frequently communicates with hiring managers to fill open positions in a timely manner.
- Works collaboratively with HR Business Partners to manage recruitment efforts and offset requisition workload per business needs.
- Develops and maintains partnerships with educational institutions, professional groups, and other organizations. Attends community and university job fairs.
- Updates and maintains the organization’s Employee Referral Program and sign-on bonus structure.
- Negotiates and takes ownership of contracts related to staffing agencies/vendors, job boards and other recruitment tools.
- Develops and tracks effective and appropriate metrics that can identify trends and be applied towards developing strategies to address recruiting needs.
- Actively participates in talent acquisition and management related activities and generates innovative ways to identify new talent.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource, nursing, healthcare, business, or related field.
- Minimum of three to five years’ recruitment experience required; healthcare recruitment experience a plus.
- Knowledge of state and federal labor laws.
- Experience using an Applicant Tracking System and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced high-volume environment with changing needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. Professional communication skills and the ability to serve as a consultant to team members at all levels of the organization.
- Must have valid Florida driver’s license and required auto liability insurance.
DEGREE OF TRAVEL
Frequent travel to Cornerstone office locations in Tavares and Orlando. Occasional travel to all other satellite offices.
