Sober Living Housing Technician Cornerstone Residence - Montville, NJ $14 - $15 an hour - Full-time, Part-time The Sober Living Housing Technician is responsible for promoting recovery and wellness for clients that are newly sober. You would be participating in ensuring all residents are safe and sober at all times as well as promoting healthy behavior and recovery-orientated thinking. We are a cooperative sober living residence, that is growing rapidly, with new and exciting growth positions available based on performance. 1. The Sober Living Housing Technician is responsible for the complete care and well-being of the clients while they are living at the sober living residence. EXPERIENCE * Graduation from High School or GED * 1-2 years of experience in a similar position or similar function * Maintains current CPR certification (Preferred) * Recovery knowledge/knowledge of the 12 steps/working with a sponsor (Required) * Education in drug and alcohol field (Preferred) * Certification in addiction studies or in the process of obtaining (Preferred) * SPECIFIC AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES * May attend administrative meetings to integrate inter-departmental sharing of information. * Builds positive relationships with staff * Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility to changes in the work environment * Follows Infection Control Guidelines as all times * Completes and forwards Incident Reports and any other safety/risk concerns to the Director of Facilities * Provides a safe, therapeutic environment for staff and clients. * Provides a daily report to management * Direct and monitor clients * Transport clients as necessary (Must have clean driving record for 5 years) REQUIRED EDUCATION * High School Diploma or Equivalency Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $14.00 to $15.00 /hour Experience: * Sober Living/ Addiction treatment: 1 year * Recovery/Step work: 2 years Education: * High school or equivalent License: * Driver's License Language: * English 1 hour ago - save job
