    Job Title: Ready Airman Training Subject Matter Expert

    Job Description:

    Cornerstone is actively seeking an operational and strategic Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the areas of non-Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC) education and training, alongside a deep understanding of deployment and individual readiness requirements. The successful candidate will establish a close working relationship with Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and other Major Commands (MAJCOMs), participating in Air Force, Joint Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) level work groups. This collaborative effort will facilitate the seamless flow of decision-level information to the Director of Operations and Readiness.

    Responsibilities:

    Provide expertise in non-AFSC education and training, as well as deployment and individual readiness requirements.

    Establish and maintain close working relationships with Air Education and Training Command (AETC) and other Major Commands (MAJCOMs).

    Participate in Air Force, Joint Staff, and OSD level work groups to ensure effective communication of decision-level information.

    Coordinate with Joint, Department of Defense (DoD), and other Services regarding readiness and deployment training.

    Support Ready Airmen Training and its integration with Air Force Force Generation (AFFORGEN), Agile Combat Employment (ACE), Multi-Capable Airmen (MCA), and other deployment models.

    Provide support in specific areas such as Air Force Instruction (AFI) compliance and conducting annual Advanced Ready Training data calls.

    Produce subsequent Training Guidance Letters to guide training efforts.

    Expeditionary Readiness Program / Ready Airman Training / AFFORGEN Qualifications:

    Possess a minimum of three (3) years of recent experience within the last five (5) years in supporting individual Airmen deployment and readiness requirements, as well as USAF Agile Combat Employment (ACE) and AFFORGEN concepts.

    Demonstrate relevant expertise and experience supporting long-term and future architecture planning efforts.

    Hold a Secret clearance to fulfill the requirements of this position.

    Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
