Cornerstone Treatment Facility, Inc. offers psychoeducational and relational support, behavioral modeling of interventions, and supervision to the consumers residing in a home of Cornerstone Treatment Facility, Inc.
Successful candidates should be able to:
Provide direct care services (basic needs) to children or adolescents.
Instructs and supervises consumers in various settings, including the community to develop self-control and social, educational, communicational and vocational skills.
Provide information to and consult with guardians and consumers on person centered plans and other issues; guides and instructs consumers toward accomplishment of goals within person centered plan.
Assess and monitor a consumer’s progress and psychiatric/emotional stability.
Maintains composure in intense situations that may arise when grossly inappropriate behaviors occur and effectively calm consumer through verbal non-aggressive techniques or protective CPI intervention.
Assist consumers with necessary treatment and service needs.
Assist in the daily operations of the home; meal planning, activities, housekeeping, etc.
Providing mental health and substance abuse education and support to consumers and families.
Provide intensified structure and supervision to consumers at all times.
Provide healthy adult role models.
Candidates will also document these activities according to NC documentation rules.
Other Training and Certifications Required: CPR First Aid Certification, Blood borne Pathogens, CPI Crisis Prevention Intervention, Medication Administration and Seizure Management, Clients Rights, Confidentiality, HIPPA, DSM 5 Diagnosis training and Sex Offender behavior
Pre-employment screening includes: Criminal background check, healthcare registry check, DMV check. 40 hours state mandated pre placement training required. Starting range is $11- $20 per hour based on experience.
