We are looking for a person to help in our pre-suit department with processing our clients' injury claims. This person would be a self-starter, driven, with a see-it-through attitude who loves speaking with clients and needs minimal supervision. This is a person who can bring their organizational, communication, and administrative skills to our busy law firm. The right fit will be comfortable on the phone and a master of keeping on task, following up, and delivering on time. This person needs to thrive within a system with structure and guidance. Success in this role is achieved by meeting deadlines and timely processing our clients' injury claims during the pre-suit process, with attorney supervision, which ensures that our client's cases can be processed timely and efficiently to resolution. You should embody the law firm's core values of integrity, excellence, and professionalism. Responsibilities: • Open insurance claims • Assist clients with finding the right treatment providers for their injuries • Serve as a liaison between the client and the law firm, as well as the medical providers • Draft 627 letters and preservation letters • Conduct preliminary case evaluations and report to supervising attorneys • Update the clients about the status of their cases during the pre-suit process • Draft demand letters • Review medical records and report important injury information to supervise attorneys • Communicate with supervising attorney and other members of the team as needed to complete assigned tasks. Qualifications: • Computer literacy/proficiency • Good command of the English language (Verbal and Written) • Good command of the Spanish language (Verbal and Written) • 3 or more years of experience as a case manager for a personal injury law firm in Florida • Good communication skills • Good drafting skills Compensation: $25 per hour
