  • Responsibilities

    A $4 billion AUM private equity firm headquartered in New York is seeking a Corporate Accountant to join its finance team. This is an opportunity to join a highly regarded and selective investment platform known for its collaborative culture, long-term orientation, and commitment to work-life balance. The role offers broad exposure to firm-level accounting and operations, with only two required in-office days per week.

    Responsibilities

    • Support day-to-day corporate and management company accounting, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations

    • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and management reports

    • Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis across departments

    • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and service providers as needed

    • Support accounts payable, cash management, and intercompany transactions

    • Contribute to process improvement initiatives and implementation of best practices

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

    • 2–4 years of accounting experience; public accounting or financial services background preferred

    • Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals and financial reporting

    • Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational abilities

    • Self-starter who thrives in a professional, team-oriented environment

    • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with accounting systems
