Corporate Accounting Intern (Spring) – GP Fund Solutions

Join GP Fund Solutions (GPFS) - a people-first fund administrator serving clients across the US, UK, and EU. This internship is designed to give you hands-on experience. You'll work alongside some of the best in the industry, a growing team at GPFS which focuses on providing comprehensive data and reporting solutions for Private Market clients. As an intern, you'll participate in several projects. You will be assigned an accounting team mentor to help you build on your classroom learning and develop lifelong skills.

• This is a paid internship opportunity.
• The internship runs from Jan-May. Exact dates to be provided at offer.
• Business Hours are 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Expecting minimum of 16 hours/week.

What You'll Do: Substituted Corporate for fund accounting and generalized reports to be less client oriented.

• Perform weekly cash analysis for accounts.
• Prepare quarterly workpapers, and assist with quarterly billing.
• Compile VAT International tax return and invoice support
• Provide support with internal company audits. ****
• Assist in the day-to-day activities of corporate accounting.
• Special projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• Must be a full-time matriculating student in Accounting, Finance, or related program.

  • GPFS requires that applicants have taken at least the first two courses in accounting offered at their university to be considered for the internship.
  • GPA requirements apply.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
