A reputable and growing, well-capitalized real estate investment organization is looking for a motivated Accounting Manager/Senior Accounting Manager for a highly visible corporate accounting role.

This role sits at the center of the business overseeing complex accounting across a large, national real estate portfolio and working closely with the Controller, CAO, and CFO.

Highlights include:

• Ownership of month-end close and complex capital transactions
• Exposure to acquisitions, refinances, resyndications, and dispositions
• Leadership of both onshore and offshore accounting teams
• Develop and implement new accounting processes and other strategic initiatives to improve financial performance.
• Real influence over process improvement, systems and SOX compliance
• Direct impact in a sophisticated real estate environment

Qualifications:

• CPA required
• 6–9 years of strong technical or investment accounting experience
• Deep GAAP knowledge + real estate industry experience
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
