CarterWill Search is seeking a Corporate Associate to join a technology-focused AmLaw corporate practice in Austin, Texas. This role provides the opportunity to work on venture financings, private equity transactions, and mergers & acquisitions for private companies across the technology and life sciences sectors.
The ideal candidate will have 4–6 years of corporate experience , with a strong background in financing transactions and M &A. Responsibilities include advising clients throughout deal execution, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and collaborating closely with internal teams and clients.
This position offers exposure to complex, high-profile transactions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with significant client interaction and strategic deal involvement.
4–6 years of experience in corporate law, focusing on venture financings, private equity, and M &A
JD from an ABA-accredited law school
Strong academic credentials and analytical skills
Excellent drafting, communication, and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple transactions efficiently while maintaining client focus and attention to detail
