CarterWill Search is seeking a Corporate Associate to join an AmLaw firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Practice in Chicago. About the Role

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of M &A experience, with a focus on company-side representation and strategic transactions. The role involves working closely with clients and senior attorneys on all aspects of deal execution, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and managing closing processes.

This position is best suited for a motivated associate who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on deal work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in M&A transactions

• Experience with company-side representation and strategic acquisitions

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong academic record and analytical ability

• Excellent drafting, communication, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously and collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
