Job Title: Corporate / Litigation Attorney
Location: Metairie, LA

We are currently seeking a Corporate and Litigation attorney to join our growing legal team. The ideal candidate should have a background in business law, and experience in buy/sell agreements, franchises, and drafting corporate documents and agreements, as well as the ability to negotiate and close business deals.
** Responsibilities**
Provide legal advice and representation to clients on a broad range of business law matters.
Draft, review, and negotiate complex corporate documents and agreements, including partnership agreements, employment contracts, and vendor agreements.
Advise clients on business transactions, including buy/sells.
Ensure compliance with relevant federal and state franchise laws and regulations.
Conduct thorough due diligence and risk assessments for potential business deals and partnerships.
Advise on corporate governance and regulatory compliance issues.
Manage and resolve legal disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and mediation.
Stay current on changes in relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel as needed.
** Qualifications**
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
Active membership in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar Association.
2-3 years experience preferred.
Demonstrate expertise in drafting and reviewing corporate documents and agreements.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Familiarity with litigation and/or tax code is a plus, but not required.
