    Job Summary – Corporate Controller

    We’re looking for a Corporate Controller to own and scale our accounting function. You’ll lead financial reporting, strengthen internal controls, and ensure compliance as we continue to grow.

    This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves, improving processes, and partnering cross-functionally to support smart, data-driven decisions.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Oversee NetSuite and ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s ERP system.
    • Manage weekly cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
    • Direct Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Accounting Operations, and Fixed Assets management.
    • Oversee weekly sales reporting.
    • Manage payroll and commission calculations to ensure timely and accurate employee compensation.
    • Partner with operations, supply chain, and accounting teams to optimize inventory valuation and cost accounting.
    • Oversee all financial systems, accounts, and ledgers to ensure compliance with GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 842.
    • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations by implementing and maintaining appropriate accounting policies and procedures.
    • Ensure compliance and accountability for sale tax reporting with proper timely payments in each jurisdiction.
    • Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company.
    • Partner with the CEO to establish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards on a monthly and annual basis.
    • Utilize NetSuite ERP to extract, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
    • Contribute to short- and long-term strategic planning, including identifying growth and profitability opportunities.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits and tax engagements.
    • Evaluate and recommend insurance coverage to mitigate risk and protect organizational assets.
    • Lead and manage accounting staff, including hiring, training, performance management, and employee relations.
    • Perform other related duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field.

    • MBA, preferred.

    • 8-10 years working in financial management; 5 years manufacturing experience.

    • CPA in good standing preferred but not required.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
    • Advanced knowledge of GAAP, ASC 606, ASC 842 and financial compliance requirements.
    • Expertise in ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), Excel, and financial reporting tools.
    • Deep understanding of internal controls, risk management, and audit processes.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to support long-term planning and operational decision-making.
    • Leadership and team management skills, with experience developing and mentoring staff.
    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
    • Knowledge and experience of payroll processes, sale tax reporting, cash flow management, and general accounting operations.

    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.

    • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse and computer for up to 6-8 hours per day.

    • Ability to utilize telephone/video conferencing for approximately 1-2 hours per day.

    • Ability to lift and/or move at least 10 pounds.

    • Frequently remain in a stationary position throughout day.

    • Occasionally move about inside and outside the premises.
