    About the Role

    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Counsel to join Bitdeer's in-house legal team. Reporting directly to the General Counsel and US Lead Counsel, you will be a key part of our legal department, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate has experience working in a law firm or in-house legal department and is comfortable with a wide range of legal support tasks.

    What You Will Be Responsible For

    • Contract Management: You will draft, review, and negotiate various legal contracts and documents, including commercial agreements, NDAs, and licensing agreements, ensuring they align with company policies and legal standards.
    • Legal Research and Analysis: You will conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on a wide range of topics, including regulatory compliance, intellectual property, and corporate law, to support the legal team's decision-making.
    • Corporate Governance: You will assist with corporate governance matters, including the formation and registration of new entities and the preparation of corporate resolutions, meeting minutes, and other records.
    • Contract Management: You will support the contract management process in the US and Canada, including internal approval process, conducting due diligence, drafting and handling correspondence.
    • Proofreading & Quality Control: You will meticulously proofread legal documents and correspondence to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, and adherence to company and legal standards.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will serve as a liaison between the legal department and other internal teams, as well as with external parties, demonstrating professionalism and discretion.

    How You Will Stand Out

    • At least 3~5 years experience as an attorney in a law firm or in-house legal department.
    • Exposure to, and general understanding of, legal contracts and trial/litigation preparation.
    • Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in all work.
    • A proactive and resourceful mindset, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A high level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and sensitive information.
    • A history of being adaptable and effective in a dynamic and evolving environment.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • A Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
    • Admitted to practice law and in good standing with at least one US state bar.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and a working knowledge of legal document management systems.
    • Mandarin speaking is highly desirable to collaborate across geographies
