  • Responsibilities

    Our client is seeking a Corporate Engineer to support capital projects, equipment design, process improvements, and safety-related upgrades across multiple industrial facilities.

    This is a hands-on engineering role for someone who enjoys both office-based design work and time in plant environments. You will help develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and detailed designs for mechanical and process equipment used in industrial production facilities.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop project scope, budgets, and installation schedules
    • Size, select, and design industrial process equipment and mechanical systems
    • Create P&IDs, PFDs, heat and mass balances, equipment lists, piping lists, motor lists, and tie-in lists
    • Work with internal controls, automation, electrical, CAD, and mechanical installation teams
    • Coordinate with vendors and internal resources on equipment sizing and design
    • Support installation activities and document field changes for project closeout
    • Provide technical solutions when process or installation challenges arise

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering preferred
    • Experience with industrial process equipment, plant engineering, or capital projects
    • Ability to work effectively with engineering, controls, electrical, CAD, and installation teams
    • Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
    • AutoCAD knowledge is helpful
    • Rendering process or equipment installation experience is a plus
    • Willingness to travel overnight to plant locations, approximately 20% to 30%
