  • Responsibilities
    • Evaluate pharmaceutical products according to set specifications.
    • Assist in the evaluation of the safety and efficacy of products, product candidates and other raw materials.
    • Assist in the development of innovative product candidates.
    • Assist in the maintenance and breeding of small laboratory animals.
    • Assist in the successful performance of in vivo experiments.
    • Assist in the formulation and implementation of policies pertaining to proper laboratory animal handling.

    Required Skills

    • Able to perform laboratory experiments for drug evaluation and/or product development while observing Good Laboratory Practices (GLP)
    • Ensures complete and accurate recording of experimental data, performs detailed and accurate computation.
    • Able to draft initial reports on experiments conducted within agreed time.
    • Provides other services necessary and relevant for the efficient and effective operation of the department.
    • Graduate of Veterinary Medicine.
    • Knowledgeable (experience is a plus) in Animal Husbandry, Animal behaviour, Necropsy, Pharmacology
    • Willing to work with small animals (Rabbits, laboratory mice and rats).
    • Well versed in several computer softwares (Word processing, presentations, excel sheets, graph softwares, etc…)
    • Aware of the Animal welfare regulations.
