LogiCore Corporation is currently seeking a full-time Sr. Engineer in Huntsville, AL to be part of an exciting, diverse, and dynamic team! The Sr. Engineer will provide expert level work for all assigned engineering program areas by using recognized methodology, principles and procedures that are in accordance with (IAW) required guidelines.
Provide senior level expertise to influence design and engineering design changes of Aviation and Missile weapon system hardware and software to reduce sustainment costs and increase system readiness during test and evaluation; production and/or construction; operation; maintenance; and the ultimate disposal/recycling of systems and equipment.
Evaluate, generate and track Value Engineering/Life Cycle Cost Reduction Projects at AMCOM PEOs/ PMs. Conduct thorough evaluation of proposed projects to ensure all applicable criteria are met prior to Combat Capabilities Development Command Aviation & Missile Center approval.
Perform active tracking to ensure adherence to established schedules. Utilize approved databases and software tools to collaborate, track and report project progression. Establish strong network and working relationship with PEO/PM Action Officers, ALC/ PM Item Managers to identify VE/LCCR opportunities and to ensure finalization of required logistics documentation (e.g., MWO, TM, Provisioning, Spares, Training).
Provide expertise in maintenance planning to ensure all aspects of maintenance are addressed in system designs and design changes. Interpret experimental measurements, engineering/scientific designs, and/or drawings. Ensure hardware systems are maintainable by minimizing tool usage, number of maintainers, simplifying maintenance procedures, reducing time to complete repair task, with minimizing training requirements, maximizing use of existing facilities, and standardized tools and test equipment.
Required Skills
Accredited Bachelors degree + 15 years’ relevant experience; Accredited Masters degree + 12 years’ relevant experience. Engineering degree or related degree is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a track record of leadership experience and results-oriented successes. Effective communication and leadership skills: strong written and verbal communication skills. Selected candidate will be a persuasive, credible, and polished communicator with excellent interpersonal and multi-disciplinary project skills. This individual must work collaboratively with internal as well as external partners and other organizations.
Skilled in the use of DOORS requirements management tool, relational databases, and SharePoint is desired.
