Position: Corporate Finance Associate Attorney
Location Options: New York, NY or Washington, D.C.
Experience Level: 2–7 years (JD Class Years 2018–2022)
Practice Area: Corporate Finance / Capital Markets / Fund Finance

A respected law firm is seeking Associates to join its Corporate Finance group in either New York or Washington, D.C. This team advises clients on a wide range of financing matters, with a strong focus on borrower-side leveraged finance and fund finance transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent borrowers in complex leveraged finance transactions, including syndicated loans and credit facilities

• Advise on fund finance matters, such as capital call and NAV-based facilities

• Draft and negotiate loan agreements and related financing documentation

• Work closely with private equity sponsors, fund clients, and financial institutions

• Collaborate with colleagues across corporate, tax, and fund formation teams

Candidate Requirements:

• JD from an accredited law school

• Bar admission in NY or D.C. preferred, or eligibility to waive in

• 2–7 years of experience (JD Class Years 2018–2022)

• Prior experience with borrower-side finance or fund finance transactions strongly preferred

• Strong drafting, analytical, and client management skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
