POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Director of Corporate Partnerships, the Corporate Partnerships Officer is a key member of the development team at Feeding San Diego (FSD). This position is responsible for achieving and increasing corporate and community–based fundraising goals through corporate sponsorship and grants, cause marketing, campaigns, volunteer engagement, and other partnerships that generate funds and raise awareness.
The Corporate Partnerships Officer will focus on building relationships with businesses to secure funding, sponsorships, and in-kind donations. This role involves fundraising, donor relations, and community engagement, acting as a bridge between the organization and potential corporate partners. Key responsibilities include developing fundraising strategies, identifying and cultivating relationships with corporate donors, and creating compelling proposals for funding.

INTERACTION
The Corporate Partnerships Officer interacts closely with development, marketing, and volunteer staff, and provides information to staff, donors, prospects, individuals in need, volunteers, FSD Board and staff, and others from the community.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
A bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a closely related field, along with 2-3 years of professional experience in corporate development and community partnerships, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Relationship building with demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with corporate partners, and the ability to navigate relationships with C-suite executives.

Personal computer, multi-line phone, copier, and printer.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
Must have reliable transportation and possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license, a satisfactory driving record, including proof of personal vehicle insurance coverage and insurability under the Agency’s insurance carrier standards.

Work in an office adjacent to a warehouse setting with occasional travel to other locations in San Diego County.
Prioritizes and multi-task work and projects requiring good memory, concentration, and analytical thinking.
Occasionally it is required to perform the safe operation of office equipment and machines and recognize and abate safety hazards within the workplace.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet but this office is maintained in a distribution center with machinery and large trucks.

PAY & HOURS
$70,000 - $80,000; Hybrid
