Corporate Quality Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 80k/year - Buford, GA
The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing quality systems across multiple manufacturing sites within the plastics industry. This role ensures compliance with customer, corporate, and regulatory quality standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives. The position partners closely with plant leadership and corporate teams to strengthen quality performance and operational consistency. Significant hands-on experience in plastics manufacturing environments is required.
Responsibilities:
Lead and maintain company-wide quality systems and compliance across multiple sites.
Establish, implement, and continuously improve divisional quality programs aligned with corporate objectives and customer requirements.
Conduct internal, supplier, and system audits to verify compliance and effectiveness of quality processes.
Partner with site, plant, and production leadership to develop, support, and strengthen plant-level quality teams and capabilities.
Communicate quality standards, expectations, and performance metrics to manufacturing, sales, and plant personnel.
Respond to quality issues, customer complaints, and non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions.
Review quality data, identify trends, and recommend process or system improvements.
Develop, update, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation to ensure operational efficiency and consistency.
Support training initiatives, including internal auditor training and quality procedure training for new and existing employees.
Oversee calibration programs for inspection and test equipment and ensure proper documentation.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with corporate leadership on reporting, monitoring, and continuous improvement of quality performance across all sites.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, manufacturing, or related technical field strongly preferred.
Extensive experience in multi-site quality management, including ISO 9000 systems.
Strong knowledge of audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.
Proven ability to influence and collaborate with plant leadership and cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
