    WANTED: PART-TIME HELP DESK TECHNICIAN

    We're seeking a part-time Help Desk Technician. This role will support on and off-site tier-1 and 2 tickets. Items include PC troubleshooting, VOIP phone systems, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, Transportation Management Systems, and  various other software programs.

    The right candidate should  have strong aspirations  to troubleshoot and solve problems while delivering best in class service. This role will report directly to our Senior IT Analyst. This position will include on-the-job training with a heavy focus on hardware setup, systems maintenance, and troubleshooting. Must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to effectively interact with co-workers and end users.

    This role is on-site in our Jacksonville Corporate Headquarters and will remotely support other branch offices.

    WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

    • Prepare and execute new setup of user workstations, specifically hardware, and various conference room equipment
    • Work directly with users to troubleshoot workstations
    • Collaborate with third-party IT to resolve issues in a timely manner as assigned by supervisor
    • Provide technical support for branch moves and setups, which may include installation of new hardware
    • Partnering with management on inventory management of all hardware
    • Assist in user onboarding and offboarding as assigned by supervisor, which includes re-imaging of workstations to be returned to inventory
    • Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change
    • Resolution of technical issues related to end-user hardware, software systems and network device

    WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

    • The ability to speak both Geek and Boomer
    • A passion to solve problems and challenges
    • Delight and impress your internal customers with a friendly, quick and helpful experience
    • Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office and Internet Browsers
    • Experience configuring and setting up user workstations and other hardware
    • Basic-level knowledge of desktop operating systems and configurations, active directory administration, and email administration
    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to efficiently and consistently produce accurate work
    • Capability of managing time and prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment
    • Proven aptitude to work both as a team and an individual
    • Hardware configuration
