    Insero Talent Solutions is thrilled to partner with a dynamic and growing law firm in Rochester, NY, in search of a Corporate Paralegal with strong experience working in Trusts & Estates.

    This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys and clients on a variety of corporate and estate planning matters, contributing to a collaborative, client-focused team environment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and file petitions for probate and/or administration in Surrogate’s Court.
    • Draft estate and trust accountings, receipt and release documents, and other related filings.
    • Assist executors and trustees in the marshalling, valuation, and transfer of probate and trust assets.
    • Prepare federal and state estate tax returns and assist in compiling documentation for fiduciary income tax returns.
    • Draft and organize trust funding documents and estate planning materials.
    • Maintain client and estate records, ensuring compliance with court and tax filing deadlines.
    • Communicate directly with clients, fiduciaries, financial institutions, and attorneys to facilitate efficient estate and trust administration.
    • Support related corporate law matters, including entity formation, maintenance, and business succession planning as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Two- or four-year degree and/or Paralegal Certificate required.
    • 3+ years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal, with strong probate and trust administration background.
    • Experience with estate and trust accounting, estate tax return preparation, and Surrogate’s Court practice.
    • Familiarity with interpreting wills, trust instruments, and fiduciary obligations.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional, proactive workstyle.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with HotDocs and FAS Accounting System preferred.

    $55,000-$70,000 per year
