Job Summary

Residential/Commercial Construction firm is seeking an experienced carpenter to work on residential/commercial remodeling and new construction projects. Requires 10+ yrs minimum experience in remodeling, new construction, blueprint reading, and estimating. Proven skills in framing, finish carpentry, tile work, drywall, roofing, gutters, concrete, painting, millwork, flooring, siding, grading, interior/exterior trim with knowledge of minor plumbing/electrical/HVAC is a strong plus.

Responsibilities:

Follow all safety rules and regulations

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Use blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine construction requirements and materials needed

Construct wood structures including framing, joists, and rafters

Install fixtures and materials such as windows, flooring, trim, and hardware

Interact with customers, suppliers, and other construction professionals

Qualifications:

Ten years of remodeling experience

Must have own tools to work on site.

Must have reliable transportation

Previous experience as a Carpenter is preferred

Knowledge of building regulations and codes

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects
