CORTEX IS BUILDING A POOL OF QUALIFIED RNS TO BE ON OUR CONTINGENT TEAM AND BE CALLED INTO ACTION WITHIN 72 HRS NOTICE. 

Cortex is on standby to provide inbound phone support in the event of a hurricane in Florida.  If/when we are activated to provide phone support our hours will most likely be from 7am - 7pm EST / 7 days a week & will provide support for as long as needed. (It could be a couple of weeks or a month+) We'll be providing inbound phone support for customers of an insurance company and helping with their needs, most likely submitting insurance claims.

Although this isn't typical nursing work - we know that nurses are amazing and empathetic while speaking with these customers who need help.    

Hurricane Season is from June 1st - November 30th 

• You could be activated at anytime between these months

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO                                                      

• Providing exceptional customer service phone support                                  
• Answering customers questions and help file insurance claims                      
• Complete required 8 hr remote training course upon activation                                          
• Able to work within 72 hours after activation & work for up to one month +

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a U.S. licensed registered nurse 
• Proficient with computers Strong 
• interpersonal skills, quickly building trust and rapport with customers Excellent written and oral communication skills Reliable Professional and positive attitude
• A dedicated quiet workspace and high-speed, reliable internet
• Working & up to date computer or laptop

PAY RATE

Temporary employee position$25/hr
