Founded on family values, we follow a management model based on communication and sharing.  We are looking for a highly motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Field Manager in our Field Department. As a technical field manager, you will be responsible for developing a relationship with the olive growers and advising on how to improve their production systems. This position involves identifying and providing solutions to technical problems through communication and field visits to the growers. Additionally, you will work in research development and extension work where scientific research results are put into practice on a farm. This role gives you a chance to positively impact local growers and ensure the sustainability of olive production into the future.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide ongoing technical support and field visits to our growers.

Facilitating farmer discussion groups where industry knowledge may be shared.

Collecting and analyzing report and trial information.

Work closely with R&D and other departments sharing trial information to develop and implement procedures and protocols for new field practices.

Writing reports that communicate research progress to growers and management.

REQUIRES SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or a related science.

Aptitude to understand research concepts and scientific results.

Proficient with MS Office.

Comfortable working outdoors in higher temperatures and weather.

Background check; drug screen; Valid Driver’s License and clean record.
