    Framatome is looking for an Estimating & Proposal Manager for the IB-Sales team supporting Kincardine and Pickering (Canada). Under minimal supervision, this position is responsible for developing sales deliverables including, but not limited to proposals, estimates, capture/closure plans, and presentations. May will be accountable for mentoring of junior staff, identifying/implementing process improvements, and ownership of the IB-Canada internal sales activities.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

    • Proposal Management – Lead complex teams and ensure high quality proposals are delivered to the customer. Proposal teams will consist of individuals from various IB-Canada business lines, as well as IB-A in the US, IB-G, I&C, and external sub-vendors.
    • Estimating – Implement sound estimating approaches across all business lines in Framatome Canada. This includes developing templates for use by proposal team members, setting proposal budget expectations, and utilizing target price methodologies to produce competitive offers.
    • Prepare associated decision maps, actions plans, offer review presentations, and other internal sales process tools.
    • Share information throughout the organization to facilitate a level of competency and performance in line with the customer requirements.
    • In coordination with product line and sales leadership, develop pricing strategies to meet customer needs while maintaining acceptable profit margins.

    ALL CANDIDATES MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY. CANDIDATES WHO EXCEED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS MAY BE CONSIDERED FOR A HIGHER LEVEL POSITION.

    • PRODUCT MANAGER I: BS in Engineering, Science, or Business or comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus 5 years of related experience in sales, proposal development, estimating, engineering, or business development. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience.
    • PRODUCT MANAGER II: BS in Engineering, Science, or Business or comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus 7-10 years of related experience in sales, proposal development, estimating, engineering, or business development. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience.
    • PRODUCT MANAGER III: BS in Engineering, Science, or Business or comparable experience in lieu of degree, plus 10-12 years of related experience in sales, proposal development, estimating, engineering, or business development. An advanced degree (MS or MBA) may substitute for 1-2 years of related work experience. LSS Black Belt certification preferred.

    • Demonstrated knowledge of Company product and service offerings.
    • Ability to work well with all levels of staff and management.
    • Expert knowledge of the sales process and associated tools (i.e. SPEAK, ProPricer, Microsoft Asset Suite).
    • Ability to change priorities quickly, confronts issues directly, and leads teams.

    TRAVEL: Domestic travel – up to 50%. Potential for very infrequent travel to other Framatome facilities globally and off-site training.
