JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring a strong and dedicated Regional Construction Manager to oversee the Midwest and Southeast Portfolio. The Regional Construction Manager is responsible for supervising all on-site construction, including scheduling subcontractors, resolving day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspecting all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications and resolving construction problems.

• Participate in on-site construction meetings, including pre-construction “kick-off” meetings, construction progress meetings, and close-out meetings at completion.

• Monitor the progress and quality of all phases of construction, including site work, building construction, the structural frame, mechanical and plumbing systems, electrical systems, life safety systems, and finished work

• Manage capex budgets and oversee completion based on the company timeline.

• Lead and maintain safety programs and training initiatives for all maintenance employees.

• Assist in hiring and training new construction team members.

• Oversee and manage the contract negotiation process when onboarding properties.

• File and manage invoices and documentation of completed jobs.

• Ensure units are rent-ready and up to company standards.

• Audit the work orders to ensure the quality matches company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience (including scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential construction)

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
