JOB SUMMARY
As a Human Resources Manager will be responsible for assisting the company in meeting its growth objectives. Working full-time in Orlando, Florida, you will report to the Company’s Chief Operating Officer and will be a key member of management as you will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources through planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices.
- Align HR objectives with overall company goals & objectives and nurture a positive working environment.
- Oversee a recruiting team that engages in recruitment, hiring, new employee orientation, and onboarding process to ensure staffing needs are met across all business units.
- Promote and foster the organization’s employee relations philosophy by being an advocate of a team-oriented and progressive workplace.
- Responsible for performance management activities including coaching and counseling, development planning, and performance improvement, and maintaining overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures.
- Maintain and communicate employee benefits programs to employees; facilitate new hire enrollment and annual open enrollment.
- Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of proven working experience as an HR manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience with HRIS, applicant tracking systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated experience with full life cycle recruiting.
- Strong employee relations background.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable State and Federal employment laws across multiple states.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Travel 10-15%.
- Experience with Real Estate/Multifamily Property Management industry
- Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration (Preferred)
- SHRM-CP/SCP or PHR/SPHR Certification (Preferred)
