JOB SUMMARY

We are hiring for a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant in the Palo Alto, CA area. The Senior Accountant will interact with and support upper-level management by providing key analytics meant to track the portfolio’s performance.

• Responsible for preparing monthly/quarterly and annual reports to share with management

• Review and approve monthly financial statements prepared by vendors

• Responsible for maintaining and analyzing all accounting records

• Prepare all interim and year-end audit work papers

• Responsible for the preparation and submission of all financial and compliance reports to lenders and partners

• Provide accurate and timely financial information to internal departments in a timely manner

• Responsible for the preparation of interim and year-end tax compliance, audit and/or tax work papers

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years of Accounting experience

• 3+ years of Real Estate or Investment experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or other related fields

• Experience in working in the Multi-Family industry preferred

• Proficient in Excel and other accounting software

• Ability to communicate complex issues effectively
