    What You’ll Be Doing

    • Answer costing-related questions from different teams and auditors—think inventory pegging, cost fluctuations, and making sure everything adds up.
    • Prepare journal entries, analyze general ledger accounts, and reconcile inventory records.
    • Improve inventory reporting by keeping a pulse on material costs, labor, and overhead.
    • Track and report inventory balances across different product lines while keeping an eye on variances and quarterly classifications.
    • Ensure internal controls are solid and up to date, supporting both internal and external audits.
    • Look for ways to make accounting processes more efficient and participate in cross-training with teammates.
    • Support projects and provide financial insights when needed.
    • Work closely with Procurement and Operations to ensure inventory costing is accurate and makes sense.

What You Bring to the Table

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 4 years of experience (OR a graduate degree with 2+ years of experience OR 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree).
    • Experience in cost accounting—especially in operations or manufacturing.
    • SAP expertise is a big plus, particularly in pegging and distribution.
    • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple priorities.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills—you know how to get your point across and keep things running smoothly.
    • A knack for problem-solving, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
