    Growing PI & Workers Compensation Law firm seeks Legal Intake Specialist. A legal intake specialist serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients and forms relationships with professionals in similar roles at other firms to provide and receive referrals as needed. Responsibilities: Some key legal intake specialist job duties are: • Interviewing prospective clients by phone and email to become familiar with their cases • Evaluating prospective clients’ claims to determine whether they’re in line with the areas of practice and experience of the firm • Entering client information into the Law Firm’s software application • Performing administrative support tasks as assigned as well as creating their own follow-up tasks to assist with their duties Qualifications: **Legal intake specialist skills and qualifications:** • Customer service skills to make prospective clients feel welcome • Candidates must display a high degree of empathy in communications with prospective clients • High-level listening skills to gain a thorough understanding of claims • Demonstrates interviewing skills during accident investigations • Strong written and oral communication skills to explain next steps and draft client profiles • Organizational skills to keep track of prospective client information, monitor lead statuses, and update lead information as needed • Multitasking ability to move quickly from one inquiry to another • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Windows operating system, and Outlook email Candidates with experience in the same or similar position will have preference. Compensation: $20 - $28 hourly
