    Our busy law office is growing, and we need a Legal Case Manager to work alongside attorneys and achieve our clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that our clients’ goals are met. Responsibilities: • Advise attorneys with cost and time-effective recommendations to accomplish the client’s goals • Interface with staff, attorneys, and outside vendors to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Draft legal documents for attorney review • Perform legal research to obtain documentation regarding health insurance, medical records, social security, and medical providers • Maintain and organize all case files, and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies • Communicate directly with clients to obtain the status of their medical condition and treatment. • Must have great customer service skills, the ability to multitask, and manage follow-up with clients. • Must possess the ability to deal with all kinds of personalities, in a courteous, quick, and efficient manner. Qualifications: • High school diploma is required - 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred • Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet presentation, and case management software • Be a self-starter and able to effectively manage multiple matters at once • Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed • Candidate must be customer service oriented, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Compensation: $38,000 - $43,000 yearly
