We are seeking a babysitter to care for our 6-year-old daughter, while my husband and I are teleworking at home. Our rate is $25/hr. We need 20 hours per week of care, but are somewhat flexible on whether it occurs in the mornings or afternoons. The job may include helping our daughter participate in distance learning or other appointments. But mostly will consist of playing at home, exploring outside, crafting, and other activities around the house. Our daughter is very sweet, social, and gets along well with caregivers. She has mild cerebral palsy and uses a walker, canes, or walks with assistance. Babysitter should be comfortable assisting her with steps, lifting her if necessary, and helping her with toileting. But because we're teleworking, we also normally will be available to help with these tasks too. Qualifications: prior childcare experience, CPR/First Aid certified, legally authorized to work in the United States. Also fyi for anyone with pet allergies, we have two cats.
