Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- JD degree and US bar membership.
- 2+ years’ experience as a lawyer in a law firm specializing in entertainment law or a business/legal affairs position at a television network or media company is strongly preferred.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal skills. Fully bilingual and able to conduct business and analyze legal matters in Spanish and English.
- Proficient in Outlook, including Calendar, Contacts.
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Desired Characteristics:
- In-depth knowledge and awareness of current digital trends and developments of the digital media and social media industry, including on-demand platforms, and the ability to provide strategic legal advice based on current laws and trends.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively to client concerns, questions, and issues.
- High level of integrity and discretion.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and tasks at the same time.
- Ability to work with a large and diverse team.
- Excellent client service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise proper judgment to assess priorities.

- Self-starter, high level of motivation, ability to work independently.
- Ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and motivated to learn new skills.
- Excellent time management and follow up skills.

Eligibility Requirements:
- Willingness to travel on short notice and on weekends.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including late and/or last-minute scheduling changes in a 24/7 production work environment.
- Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, Florida area.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.
