Position Summary: We're seeking licensed mental health professionals to provide telephone-based counseling and crisis intervention services to clients in a remote work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide immediate emotional support and crisis intervention via telephone
Conduct initial assessments of clients' mental health needs
Develop short-term action plans and coping strategies
Document client interactions and maintain accurate records
Make appropriate referrals to local resources when needed
Follow emergency protocols for high-risk situations
Required Qualifications:
Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
Current state licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent)
Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
Crisis intervention experience
Excellent phone communication skills
Strong documentation abilities
Reliable high-speed internet connection
Quiet, private home office space
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with telehealth or phone counseling
Background in crisis hotline work
Experience with regular confidential counseling
Familiarity with keeping health records
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available 24/7
Minimum commitment of 10-20 hours per week
