Counter Sales Representative – Marine Parts & Equipment

Foley, AL | Full-Time | $18–$23/hr (DOE)
Marine, Boating, Auto Parts, Hardware, or Mechanical Retail Experience Preferred

Join a long-established marine distributor and retailer with 60+ years in business, serving boat owners, contractors, and marine service professionals across the Southeast. We’re hiring a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers with parts, accessories, and equipment at our Foley location.

If you have experience in marine, boating, automotive parts, hardware, equipment rental, or general counter sales, this is an excellent opportunity. Candidates with strong customer-service skills and mechanical aptitude are also encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers in selecting the right marine parts, mechanical components, and accessories

• Look up product info, availability, and pricing

• Provide basic technical guidance and product recommendations

• Process transactions quickly and accurately using the POS system

• Support special orders and coordinate with suppliers

• Maintain a clean, stocked, and customer-ready counter area

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in marine, auto parts, hardware, retail counter sales, or mechanical shop environments (preferred)

• Mechanical or boating knowledge is a strong plus

• Familiarity with paints, coatings, or marine components helpful

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

• Reliable, organized, and eager to learn new product lines
