About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, customer‑focused Counter Sales / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position supports both front‑counter sales and warehouse operations, ensuring customers receive excellent service while getting the products they need. The ideal candidate is professional, knowledgeable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Customer Service & Counter Sales

Assist customers promptly at the counter with questions, orders, and product information

Provide excellent customer service through professional communication and problem‑solving

Make custom hoses and brake lines as needed

Provide product and job quotes

Answer phones, take orders, and follow up on customer needs

Direct escalated issues to the Store Manager

Product Knowledge & Sales Support

Maintain strong knowledge of products, inventory, and applications

Know product locations within the warehouse

Generate sales through add‑on and solution‑based selling

Keep the showroom stocked, neat, and organized

Warehouse Operations

Accurately pull and fill customer orders

Maintain clean aisles, walkways, and organized inventory

Perform cycle counts and assist with year‑end inventory

Report backorders or product discrepancies

Receiving

Receive incoming shipments promptly and accurately

Verify product quantities, descriptions, and quality

Report discrepancies or damages

Label, stage, and put away products in proper locations

Maintain an organized receiving area

Facility & Equipment Maintenance

Help maintain the appearance of the store, warehouse, bathrooms, and common areas

Perform vehicle and forklift inspections

Follow all safety rules and report hazards

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the store and warehouse for extended periods

Lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. regularly; up to 75 lbs. with assistance

Bend, stoop, reach, climb, and perform repetitive motions

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks

Load and unload products safely

Work in varying warehouse conditions (warm, cold, dusty)

Communicate clearly in person and over the phone

Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, including assembling custom hoses and brake lines

Treat customers, coworkers, and vendors with courtesy and respect

Follow all safety procedures and company standards
