This job job involves fabricating and installing countertops using various materials like stone, quartz, and other solid surfaces. This role requires skilled craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to work with both specialized tools and equipment, while also providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: Fabrication: Measuring, cutting, and shaping countertops according to customer specifications. Installation: Installing fabricated countertops in residential and commercial settings, ensuring proper fit and function. Material Handling: Inspecting and handling various countertop materials, including stone, quartz, and solid surfaces. Tools & Equipment: Proficiently using tools and equipment necessary for fabrication and installation, including bridge saws, grinders, and polishers. Customer Service: Communicating with customers, addressing their questions and concerns, and ensuring their satisfaction. Quality Control: Maintaining high quality standards for all fabricated and installed countertops. Safety: Adhering to safety regulations and practices in the workplace. Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during the fabrication or installation process. Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with other team members, including project managers and other installers. Physical Demands: Lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that require dexterity.
