Counting & Contributions Leader
Job Overview: Counting & Contributions Leader plans and directs the counting team when processing offerings, completes reports and submits them weekly to the accounting team. Reviews all processes for the counting team to prevent any errors. Supervises the delivery of money to our money transporter, Loomis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Oversees staff for all ministry services and events, such as Sunday services, Tuesday classes, CAP, SSS, RMNT, retreats, etc.
Oversees the Counting & Contributions team while contributing to the completion of department duties through entering donor contributions in the system, as well as performing accounting specific tasks
Coordinate with other departments for offering collection for various events and special services such as House of Prayer, Hop and Discipleship Retreats, Youth, Classes, etc.
Assist with distribution of inventory of tithes and offerings envelopes, HOP and disciple leader’s offering bags available in the warehouse.
Update and filter donor information through our donor system and generates reports
Verify that cash deposits are made to the correct account and placed in sealed bags.
Assists in registration for events such as CAP, SSS, Youth, Retreats, etc.
Receive, process and log contributions for events, Net Funds and Missions package reimbursements
Assists with any requests for the end of year giving statement as needed.
Check the Contribution reports with our donor system through filtering.
Check scanned contributions in digital format with contribution reports.
Process collections of tithes and offerings received by email, phone, mail or in person.
Oversees the inventory and deposit of all foreign currency.
Handles the issuance of pelican cases with security personnel for off site offering collections.
Oversees the delivery by security personnel of the offerings received from campuses to counting each Sunday.
Oversees the delivery of offerings in the services by the ushers as well as the control of the buckets.
Answer inquiries concerning contributions from donors such as Supernatural Global Network Churches, etc.
Assist with purchases for event tickets and registrations.
Clarify and guide donors with any donor system issues as needed.
Assist with Front desk functions when needed such as direct calls, greet visitors, etc.
Other duties may be assigned as needed to support the mission and goals of KJM.
Other duties pertaining to Counting & Contributions Clerk.

Education and/or Experience Requirements
Associate Degree required (2 year degree); Bachelor degree is a plus; or 2 years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
