This is a part-time position - 48 hours per pay period with flexibility in scheduled hours and with potential of moving into Full Time.
Be responsible for all assigned MDS's, CAA's, and care plans according to State Regulations and Standards.
Complete RN Assessments as assigned.
Will actively work with nursing staff to aid in accuracy and completion of item sets of MDS.
Will be responsible to know and comply with facility and department safety rules.
Assume responsibility for personal growth and development by attending in-services and educational programs made available.
Attend daily report and monthly wing meetings.
Assists with auditing of documentation to ensure regulatory compliance and standards of practice are met.
Assists with skin assessments and weekly skin rounds as directed.
Assists with completion of clinical and reimbursement audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Current RN licensure in the State of Minnesota.
Knowledge and understanding of reimbursement of skilled payors/insurances including but not limited to Medicare, Medicare Replacement, private and commercial health plans.
Knowledge and understanding of the Minnesota Case Mix System, MDS process, care planning system and general resident assessment requirements.
Strong nursing assessment skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with other members of the health care team.
Excellent organizational skills and time management skills.
Must be in good mental and physical health and have a genuine concern for the elderly.
