    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Data Support Technician is responsible for the management and maintenance of designated corporate software systems, and databases used for corporate communications, recruitment and marketing purposes.

    The Technician utilizes various methods to retain systems and data, and ensures information is being collected and transported efficiently. The Technician is an important line of protection in auditing and securing the organization's valuable information in regards to corporate and emergency communications. Additionally, the technician will act as a liaison of information between departments for recruiting efforts through use of our corporate applicant tracking system, Breezy. 

    The Data Support Technician assists in the collection of corporate data including patient/family/staff contacts and employee applications. The technician studies submitted documents to validate their correctness and takes necessary steps to amend errors and/or missing data. The Data Support Technician inputs data with accuracy and efficiency. They handle time-sensitive data on a daily basis, adhering to corporate standards and privacy regulations.

    The Data Support Technician will perform frequent audits, and reach out to necessary persons if additional information is missing or needed.

    The Data Support Technician is responsible for keeping designated corporate software systems and databases updated and organized.

    RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

    • Oversee and maintain corporate contact and communication database
    • Oversee and maintain applicant tracking system
    • Review all submitted documents to validate their correctness, taking necessary steps to amend errors and/or missing data
    • Preform frequent audits of designated corporate software systems and databases
    • Coordinate efforts with other departments to ensure the proper knowledge and use of the integrated database system
    • Complete timely and accurate processing of necessary daily data entry
    • Maintain master records for corporate and associated entities.
    • Confer with supervisor on matters affecting data flow and integrity; makes recommendations for improvement or enhancement to data processes to ensure standards in data entry, collection, and retrieval are achieved
    • Create and prepare reports regarding corporate communications, emergency communications, and recruitment efforts as needed
    • Assist with corporate communication platform (Regroup) as needed
    • Support Marketing team in their efforts to disseminate urgent and important information
    • All other duties as assigned

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Ability to write professionally, with great attention to detail
    • Ability to effectively communicate, verbal and written
    • Ability to work comfortably with computers, including software systems, and data collecting platforms
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
    • Ability to problem-solve and utilize critical thinking skills
    • Ability to effectively and respectfully work with multiple department managers and entities
    • Ability to follow and maintain safe working practices at all times
    • Ability to frequently, repetitively, and accurately operate office equipment including computer, keyboard, copy machine, fax machine
    • Must feel comfortable working in a health care setting, around vulnerable patients and seniors

    EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • 2-3 years of experience with computers, computer science, IT, data collection, network technologies, or related field
    • Degree in computer science, IT, network technologies or related field preferred, but not required
    • Experience in health care preferred, but not required

    Job Type: 30 hrs/pp with potential to become 40/pp

    Pay: $17.00 per hour
