Country Manor is in search of a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSOCIATE to coordinate personnel needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist appropriate directors in annual review of personnel policies
- Conduct reference checks when requested
- Conduct criminal background checks on all staff
- Route initial paperwork to payroll and staffing
- Submit/monitor work comp claims
- Assist Payroll/Benefits department as necessary
- Update and maintain career opportunities; post internally, mail applicant acknowledgement letters
- Complete FMLA paperwork and maintain accurate FMLA logs
- Coordinate and attend job fairs
- Facilitate job postings on campus community advertising as needed
- Work with departments to ensure appropriate staffing
- Attend HR meetings
- Report and maintain workers compensation information
- Coordinate and chair Safety Committee
- Coordinate EOE/AA Program Reporting
- Work with appropriate directors to maintain current job descriptions
- Ensure OSHA 200 log is current
- Submit annual OSHA reports
- Perform employment law research as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Computer proficiency
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee and company records
- HR education or experience helpful
- Excellent time-management skills
