    Champion Rehab has been serving the St. Cloud and Sartell communities as an outpatient clinic for over 15 years, specializing in physical, occupational, speech, and aquatic therapy. We are committed to being a leader in the rehabilitation field. Our staff has access to cutting edge tools, are trained in the latest techniques, and are constantly encouraged to explore and research new methods to benefit those we serve. We are currently in search of a qualified and committed PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT to help us on our mission! This is your opportunity to join the Champion Rehab team- making an impact within our company, as well as in the lives of all clients served.

    AS A PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT, YOU WILL:

    • Contribute to the physical therapist's effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; providing information and commentary; recommending options and courses of action; implementing physical therapy directives.
    • Assess patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying therapy histories.
    • Assess abnormal conditions by reviewing physical therapist's interpretations of patient evaluations and test results.
    • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records.
    • Perform therapeutic procedures by administering manual exercises; instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities; and in using supportive devices, such as crutches, canes, and prostheses.
    • Maintain production objectives by noting current treatment trends; monitoring actual physical therapy services rendered to production objectives.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Completion of an accredited Physical Therapy certification program
    • Ability to use theoretical knowledge in the rehabilitation of clients through therapeutic sessions
    • Ability to maintain work and client/resident confidentiality
