Our well-established team is looking for a motivated and experienced title agent to join us in achieving our goal of providing consistently excellent closing services to our clients. Compensation: 30% - 60% Join a growing team Responsibilities: • Review all closing documents to be sure title commitments have been met, issue title policy, and prepare closing statements to transfer the title to the new owner • Prepare title abstract and title opinion after conducting a title search • Record all legal documents at the county and federal level and present deed to new owners • Work effectively throughout the closing process with a variety of industry professionals such as real estate agents, settlement agents, title insurance agents, law firms, escrow officers, closing agents, paralegals, and escrow companies • Conduct property search to check for real estate title defects or issues, such as claims, liens, mortgages, deeds, wills, or fraud • MUST have a book of business and be able to bring business in • Attend Marketing events to bring in business • Cover any department when shorthanded • Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications: • 3-5 years of experience in title closing, title examiner, abstractor, or closing services is required • College degree preferred- high school diploma required • Prefer process-driven, analytical and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills • Microsoft Office Suite proficient • Meet state licensing requirements -- title producers license is a plus Compensation: $60,000 at plan commission
