The Engineering Aide position is the trainee level of the County's Engineering Technician series of positions. No experience is required! Engineering Aide's work in the office, and out in the field, learning and acquiring the skills needed to progress into becoming an Engineering Technician I.
Engineering Technicians work in the office, and out in the field, performing routine, subprofessional engineering work in support of the Field Survey Crew, Materials Lab, Engineering Design, Transportation, and/or Construction Contract Administration work groups. As they gain experience, Engineering Technicians promote to Engineering Technician II.
