About the role

Courted is looking for a Front-end Engineer with strong attention to detail and passion for building beautiful applications. As an early member of the core engineering team, you'll be building the platform from the ground up, and have influence over the technical architecture.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the design and product teams to build a best in class UX for our customers
• Design and implement the frontend architecture for extensibility
• Build and launch new features with a focus on A/B testing and rapid iteration
• Establish best practices and norms for frontend development, and the engineering team 
• Develop a testing framework for peace-of-mind in automated deployments
• Develop data visualizations for clear and concise communication of insights from our data platform
• Partner with the engineering team for product/technical decisions, code reviews, and feature prioritization

Requirements

• 2+ years working with ReactJS/Redux (or similar, including Vue, Angular, etc)
• Proven track record delivering products with great UX
• Past experience building performant UIs for data-driven applications
• Experience developing with a test-driven mentality
• Proficiency with at least one front-end data visualization framework (e.g D3.js, Highcharts, etc.)
• Comfort working with tools outside of the frontend stack (i.e. Docker, AWS, API, CI/CD, etc.)
• A continuous learner with passion for building UIs with modern tools
• Ownership mindset with attention to detail
