Job Summary:

The Bagger plays a vital role in providing an excellent shopping experience by efficiently and carefully bagging customer purchases, assisting with carryouts, and maintaining a clean and organized front-end area. This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and a positive, helpful attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet customers in a friendly and courteous manner.

Properly and efficiently bag groceries to prevent damage and maximize space.

Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when needed.

Return carts from parking areas to store entryways.

Keep bagging and front-end areas clean, organized, and well-stocked with bags and supplies.

Assist with cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting high-touch areas.

Help restock front-end items like paper bags, plastic bags, and promotional materials.

Communicate clearly with cashiers and customers to ensure smooth transactions.

Provide support for other departments as requested.

Follow all store safety procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

Must be at least [insert age requirement, typically 16+] years old.

Friendly, courteous, and professional demeanor.

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Punctual, reliable, and able to work well as part of a team.

Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
