One of the largest financial services corporations in the world is looking for experienced commercial bankers (not licensed) to manage a portfolio of clients. You’ll educate your clients about industry leading products and services, and connect them with resources (specialists in credit and payments, for example). You'll analyze their financial and operating strategies and recommend alternative/additional financial services to meet their immediate and long-term personal and business needs. You will also prospect for new business while retaining and enhancing existing client relationships.
We’re looking for 5-10+ years in commercial lending, business development, commercial credit and portfolio management experience in commercial banking or middle market sector. You MUST have managed an extensive portfolio of clients with revenues of $10-$50 million. You must have experience prospecting for new business with proven sales performance, be able to assess/analyze clients' financial conditions and industry trends. Familiarity with sales force automation (ACT or others) is a plus. You must have a relevant undergraduate degree (business, finance, economics), leadership experience (organizing, leading and negotiation with bank team members to solve client needs). And,you must have formal credit training and commercial underwriting experience.
You must have a stable work history; no job hopping! If you move jobs more than every two to three years, that’s too much.
Relocation assistance is not available, you must either be there and have established centers of influence to be successful in this role. Compensation is competitive (includes discretionary/performance incentive pay) and benefits are exceptional. The employer is NOT open to sponsorship, so you MUST be eligible to work for any US employer without sponsorship. Also – this is not a business to business contract opportunity.
