One of the largest financial services corporations in the world is looking for experienced professionals to originate retail mortgage loans and other lending products within a community-based financial center. Client contact will be via phone or in person. You’ll have the ability to lend in all 50 states, utilizing a state of the art digital platform.

REQUIREMENTS

We’re looking for at least two years of experience in loan origination. You must have active NMLS # and a production record (verifiable) of $8M annually. You must have extensive understanding of the local affordable housing market, housing assistance program, and guidance to low to moderate income and first time homebuyers. You will need to become certified in neighborhood lending. Looking for strong knowledge of conventional and/or government guidelines, knowledge of underwriting process / closing procedures / federal lending regulations on real estate lending, ability to organize and deliver home buying workshops, familiarity with FHA and HUD guidelines, knowledge of community housing counseling agencies, up to date on local competition product offerings and real estate market, and solid computer skills (MS applications and experience using laptop technology for client communication purposes including accessing rate, credit and loan status information).

Relocation assistance is not available, you must either be there or already have plans to move there on your own. Compensation is commission-based with a strong incentive plan.
