We are looking for an independent, efficient, and highly motivated Social Media Specialist to help us build brand equity and awareness. This individual will be instrumental in helping us make our mark in this rapidly-expanding industry.

The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for working to create engaged social media communities through conceptualizing and creating social media assets, promoting content, and managing special projects. The Social Media Specialist will be tasked with managing all social media accounts, maintaining our content calendar, paid social ad campaigns, and more.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    Social Media Posting and Engagement

    • Post and engage daily on our high-growth social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok).
    • Post all approved content and promotions to CovalentCreative-owned social media channels—including content created for both internal and client campaigns.
    • Regularly and consistently engage with other companies, influencers, and our followers for all CovalentCreative-owned channels that we manage by sharing, commenting, liking, and interacting.

    Campaign Promotions

    • Conceptualize and create all social media assets for internal campaigns, in partnership with our graphic design and/or film team.
    • Regularly promote Eyes On Eyecare content through effective posting and engagement strategies
    • Maintain our social media content calendar and collaborate with the internal marketing team on strategic planning for content marketing, event, and other campaigns.
    • Manage special social projects, including but not limited to live video campaigns, takeovers, and influencer sourcing and agreements.
    • Draft and manage paid social ad campaigns, including audience segmentation and copy optimization.

    Social Media Strategy

    • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media tactics and trends, including new platform features. Proactively and independently learn about social media to help keep us on the cutting edge by reading books and blogs and watching videos.
    • Keep a pulse on where our audiences regularly interact in social communities and suggest new platforms for us to build out, as appropriate.
    • Work with the Associate Director of Marketing to develop and update our internal social media strategy, ensuring that our social activities support and further broader company and departmental objectives.
    • Note: Researching and suggesting new tactics and services that we could leverage internally and/or offer clients to increase the scope of work is not required, but it is highly encouraged and will accelerate growth in this position.

    • 2+ years of full-time content marketing experience
    • Experience with B2B marketing campaigns
    • Experience with conceptualizing and creating social media assets
    • Experience across all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok)

    A NOTE ON QUALIFICATIONS:

Not all applicants will have skills that match a job description exactly. CovalentCreative values diverse experiences in other industries, and we encourage everyone who meets the required qualifications to apply. While having experience with these exact job duties makes for a strong candidate, we encourage applicants with alternative experiences to also apply.
